JHCollective EP (COVER)

'JH formed in early 2005. It started out as an idea; Trumpeter Mark Crown, the founder of JH, wanted to form a group that would play a mixture of funk, jazz, soul and hip hop. A group that would be flexible enough to be able to do one off collaborations with different singers and MCs, while also being able to hold its own without lead vocalists. So, he went about gathering up the other members of the band. Many of the other members previously didnt know each other, and so in early february of 2005 a group of musicians got together for the first time at a studio in Central London, and the JH collective was formed. However the group faced difficulties as certain members of the group left for university. Bassist Reuben Cainer left for Berkley in America and so a new bassist was found, Jack Blundell'.
